Lauren was raised in Carroll, IA, and has been dancing for 19 years. Growing up, she was on the competition team and dance team. Along with her training in the studio, she spent several summers training with Muse Dance Company in Los Angeles. Since then, Lauren attended the University of Iowa, where she trained with and performed choreography by professors and choreographers such as George De La Peña, Stephanie Miracle, and Christopher Rasheem-McMillian. At Iowa, Lauren achieved a BFA in Dance, a BA in Theatre, and a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management. Through her training, Lauren has developed a passion for spreading quality arts education. Combining her background in business and dance, she can’t wait to bring this passion to the dancers at Premiere.
