Aunica is the Co-Owner and Executive Director of Premiere Dance Project. Aunica has trained and studied dance her entire life. Her love of dance led to the launch of Premiere Dance Project in 2018 with Amanda. Since then, she has enjoyed sharing her knowledge of dance with her students.
Aunica attended the University of Iowa where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. At the University of Iowa Aunica performed in concert pieces by choreographers such as Chafin Seymour. In addition she took class from renowned professors like Eloy Barragán and Armando Duarte.
Aunica has her teaching certification from Dance Masters of America where she currently serves on the Chapter #47 board. In addition, she has received her Acrobatic Arts, Progressing Ballet Technique, and Yoga Teacher certifications.
Aunica enjoys using her love for dance to help dancers discover their full potential and achieve their goals inside and outside of the studio. When Aunica isn’t at the studio you can find her outside on an adventure or spending time with her dog, Milo.
