Emily began dancing at the age of 3 at Brekke Dance Center. She was a member of the Waukee Dance Team throughout her high school career before returning to the program as Head Coach, where she is currently in her seventh year. Emily also served as an assistant dance coach at Simpson College and taught in the studio setting for five years before transitioning her focus to coaching. She is excited to return to the studio, where her love of dance first began. Emily is passionate about helping dancers grow not only in their technique but also in their confidence, teamwork, and love for dance. She is thrilled to share her passion and experience with the dancers and families at Premiere!
