Amber Newsom began her dance training at Ashlee’s Creative Arts Academy. Amber grew up a competitive dancer and trained primarily in the styles of Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, and Acrobatics. In 2023, she earned her BA in Dance from Missouri Valley College. Amber was named Senior Class Scholar for the Dance Program. Post graduation Amber moved to St. Louis to further her dance training and became a trainee for Big Muddy Dance Company now known as St. Louis Dance Theatre. Along with this she took part in side projects and gigs with Resilience Dance Company. While in St. Louis Amber also worked as an RBT, where she did daily ABA therapy for children with autism and behavioral challenges. Aside from her own dance training Amber enjoys teaching and passing her love of dance onto her students. Amber is eager to continue her teaching journey at Premiere and grow alongside the wonderful Premiere staff and students.
