Since the age of three, Hauper has trained in styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip hop, and gymnastics – with a particular love for ballet and lyrical. Hauper grew up dancing in Southwestern Iowa where her love of dance grew under the direction of her aunt, a professional dancer. Hauper began her competitive dance career well before the age of ten and hasn’t left the stage since. She has received countless overall and platinum awards and has even been awarded a variety of competitive scholarships to dance in such cities as New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. She started teaching at her home studio in 2014. Since then, she has taught recreational and competitive classes across a variety of age groups, specializing in polishing numbers to be stage ready. Having moved to the Des Moines metro, Hauper is excited to begin teaching at Premiere where she can positively impact aspiring dancers. She can’t imagine a life without dance.
